Fur Double Hammock - By Bless Studio !
I have yet to meet somebody that does not feel like he needs to own a hammock. If the idea of a double hammock sounded good, how much more would you like it if it were to be a fur hammock? Well my friends you have to see this impeccably-made creation by German design studio Bless - it is a truly spectacular one! One prostrate moment suspended in its silky soft caresses will have you believing your name is Roger, that you sleep with a sidearm and that an adjacent Barbara Bach or some similarly naked double agent is begging you – rather persuasively – not to use it. Bless is a very clever progressive design company, moving from clothing to jewellery to home-ware with equal audacity. This beautifully-realised piece, produced in collaboration with Montreal’s foremost design gallery Commissaires, promises to exalt their star still further. Assembled by Germany’s most skillful fur artisan, the fox fur blanket is dyed black and lined with cashmere. A traditional macramé technique is applied for the breaded black cotton cords. The black cotton toile underlining (attached to the fur by a series of buttons) can be detached allowing the hammock to be dry-cleaned or the fur blanket and the cotton hammock to be used separately. The above showed stunning piece is limited to only 5 editions. But Bless is working hard to make more of these stunning hammocks available. See volume 298 as shown below, which is now available. If you look for a piece that separates your home from any other, this would be a good start. And as always you heard it here first!
