Valenkis - Russian Footwear !
Valenkis are a unique product. This is Russian footwear that has been produced for over 300 years, was and is worn by peasants, royalty, Lenin, Stalin, the Romanoff's and the guys digging missile silos in Siberia. They are made out of 100% wool, from tools that saw the rise and fall of the Soviet Empire. Every pair of Valenkis is unique and will be somehow different from the rest. Expect slight variations in height, color, and thickness of wool from pair to pair. At first the Valenkis will feel a little stiff, but as worn, they will get softer and mold to the shape of the feet. Valenkis do not have a snug fit—they have the fit of a rubber boot. Valenkis come with two parts; The 100% wool boot and the slip-over rubber Galoshi. This natural rubber part is used in order to protect the Valenkis from moisture and wear. Generally, Valenkis' are used in the snow and below zero temperatures and there is no need to wear the rubber galoshi part. However, the rubber part it is recommended for use on city streets.Valenkis are winter boots. Ideal for cold temperatures and snow. Valenkis should not be worn in the rain. With proper care, Valenkis can last for years. Whilst these things are super cool to wear for guys, the ladies just love these things. They are cool, make for a fashion statement and more so, they keep your feet and legs warm in the snow and cold like no other boot. She will love you for a pair of those. And as always; You heard it here first!

These boots seem amazing - but I wonder how they last long. If you walk always in virgin snow maybe but for European usage it seems inevitable to use the rubber base. Really amazing! Really have heard it the first time here!
